Elderon 2

Birnamwood improved to 3-4 on the year after taking down Elderon (4-3).

Birnamwood outhit Elderon 15-4, led by a four-hit game from Corey Krull. Timmy Rew, Jacob Piotrowski, Nathan Olds, Gus Turner-Zick and Brandon Resch all added two hits, with Rew doubling and Turner-Zick belting a home run. Zach Bembenek struck out 10 batters over seven innings to claim the victory on the mound.

Elderon’s Adam Janikowski suffered the loss after pitching the first 5⅓ innings. Brandon Groshek, Justin Meronk, MacLaen Alwes and Mike Lehman all had one hit.

Wittenberg 7

Hatley 6

Wittenberg earned a 13-inning win over Hatley to improve to 4-3. Hatley slipped to 2-5.

Erik Steigerwald earned the win on the mound after tossing 5⅓ innings. Dominic Anderson pitched the first 7⅔ innings. Dalton Zeinert led the team with three hits, including a homer and double, while Erik Steigerwald also had three hits, also clubbing a homer. Tom Froom chipped in with three hits while Anderson had two.

Hatley’s Andrew Baranowski suffered the loss on the mound after pitching 5⅓ innings. John Breske pitched the first seven innings. Baranowski also led the team with three hits while Kodie Kocher and Kyle Zblewski each had two.

Eland 4

Polar 1

Eland defeated Polar behind a strong start from Jarod Richter.

Richter earned the win after pitching every inning for Eland, which improved to 6-1. Eland had just three hits in the contest.

Polar (3-4) managed six hits, three of which came off the bat of Hunter Kirsch. Kyle Wagoner took the loss on the mound.

South Central Division

Waupaca 10

Omro 0

Waupaca cruised to a shutout win over Omro in seven innings to improve to 7-0.

Waupaca’s Jim Nighbor fired a two-hit shutout from the mound, striking out 12 batters along the way. Walker Smith and Kyle Douglas each finished with two hits and two RBIs while Sean Peskie added two hits.

Brian Jones was dealt the loss despite only allowing one earned run. Conner Danke and Greg Danke each had a hit for Omro, which fell to 2-5 overall.

Scandinavia 13

Weymont 3

Scandinavia eased past Weymont in seven innings and improved to 6-1 overall. Weymont fell to 2-5.

Ryan Glodowski earned the win on the mound while Trevor Wetzel was dealt the loss.

Plover earns forfeit win over New London

Plover improved to 3-3 on the summer after New London (0-6) did not have enough players to compete.

East Division vs. West Division

Tigerton 20

Menominee 1

Tigerton pounded out 21 hits during a rout of Menominee. Tigerton improved to 4-2 while Menominee fell to 1-5.

Tigerton’s Conner Harris homered among his four hits, while Pat Provoast clubbed a home run among his three base hits. Jon Berg also finished with three hits, while Cody Riemer and Gunner Kopitzke each had two. Shawn Much earned the victory on the hill.

Gerald Boivin was dealt the loss for Menominee. Kyle Kakwitch, Shane Latender, Corey Grignon and Lowell Chevalier each had a hit.

Caroline 13

Marion 6

Caroline used a four-run fifth inning and five-run eighth to take down Marion.

Aaron Hoffman and Conner Senzig each posted four-hit nights at the plate for Caroline, which improved to 4-2. Cory Desrochers, Dylan Loveland and Neil Hoffman all provided two hits, while Brandon Bernarde picked up his first BABA hit. Aaron Hoffman also was the winning pitcher.

Jared Sonnenberg took the loss on the mound for Marion (3-4). Jake Westphal had two hits and scored twice for the team while Alex Elandt tripled.

Clintonville 14

Bowler 3

Clintonville eased past Bowler and improved to 5-1 overall. Bowler fell to 2-5.

Jeremy Schoenike and Turner Doornick each homered while contributing three and two hits, respectively. Jared Westphal added two hits.

Landon Kroening suffered the loss for Bowler but did post two base hits at the plate. Phil Duffek and Cody Montez also had two hits.

Leopolis 12

Shawano 8

Leopolis took down Shawano despite being outhit.

Leopolis (2-4) managed 10 hits in the game, with Nate Laude and Brock Hoffman each providing two base hits. Tyler Dillenberg legged out a double while Kasey Kristof picked up the victory on the hill.

Dan Buettner took the loss for Shawano, which fell to 1-5 overall. Shawano tallied 13 hits, led by three-hit games from Josh Ebert, Ayden Hale and Kien Moorman.

Gresham 9

Little Falls 7

Gresham edged Little Falls in a tight contest. With the win, Gresham improved to 7-0 while Little Falls slipped to 5-2.

Gresham had 11 hits in the tilt, with Nate Ejnik posting four of those, including a homer. Tim Nietzer and Zack Schutt each added two hits while Josh Foreman earned the win after pitching 7⅓ innings.

Nate Korb was dealt the loss for Little Falls, which tallied 10 hits at the plate. Cam Gruenwald homered among his two hits while Kasey Morgan and Korb each chipped in with two hits.

Neopit 21

Tilleda 5

Neopit had little trouble in taking down Tilleda. Neopit now owns a 4-3 record while Tilleda fell to 1-6.

Mike Mahl gave Neopit an early lead with a first-inning grand slam. Alex Peters doubled twice and homered among his four hits, while Justin Fisher also tallied four hits. Mike Pecore, Bobbie Peters, Dallas Madosh and Mequan Corn Jr all contributed three hits. Madosh also secured the win on the mound.

Joel Brei was dealt the loss for Tilleda. Steve Reinke, Kurt Brei, Joel Brei and Adam Strassburg all had one hit.
