Bonduel 3

Tigerton 1

The Bears picked up a Central Wisconsin Conference crossover win over the Tigers on Tuesday, winning by scores of 25-20, 14-25, 25-17, 25-19.

Tigerton was led by Monika Minniecheske, who totaled 17 attack kills and two block kills. Jaidan Miller had 10 assists while Adrienne Brady tallied nine.

Kelsi Schumaker recorded six attack kills, eight digs and served three aces while Savanna Swartz had 12 digs, 13 service points and three aces for the Tigers. Brady added 17 service points and four kills while Ladia Block finished with eight digs.

Gresham 3

Port Edwards 1

The Wildcats rallied from a set down to top the Blackhawks in a CWC crossover matchup on Tuesday. Gresham improved to 5-5 overall after winning by scores of 19-25, 25-13, 25-17, 28-26.

Makayla Belongia led Gresham with 16 service points and eight kills while Valarie Cerveny had 23 assists. Karisa Nietzer led the Wildcats with 17 kills while Tiana Ferguson recorded eight digs.

“We came out with a lack of energy in the first set and that caused us to create a lot of unforced errors,” Gresham coach Tim Wild said. “I like how our team really picked up the intensity as the night went on. Winning a tough fourth set that went back and forth in the end will help us in close games moving forward.”

Menominee Indian 3

Elcho 0

The Eagles stayed hot to open the season, earning a 25-10, 25-22, 25-15 victory over Elcho on Tuesday.

Menominee Indian now owns an 8-0 record on the young season.


Gresham/Bowler 10

Tri-County 0

The Gresham/Bowler co-op eased past Tri-County in a Central Wisconsin Conference match on Tuesday. With the win, the co-op improved to 1-2 in conference and 2-4 overall.

Raven Bennett and Zack Fehrman each netted hat tricks for the co-op while Bryce Bohl added two goals and an assist.

Zak Burr recorded a goal and assist while Nate Juga had the team’s other goal. Diego Martinez and Georgia Schultz were each credited with assists.

Sasha Carrillo picked up the Truckers lone win on Thursday night against St. Mary’s Springs, picking up a victory in No. 4 singles play.
