Marge and Evan were blessed with seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by foster parents, Ernest and Joyce Kiesling; in-laws, Raymond and Beryl Johnson, of Pittsville; sister-in-law, Patti Connor; and uncle, Anderson Connor.

Marge devoted a majority of her life to raising her four sons and being a devoted wife. She took great pride in raising, along with her husband, their sons and ensured they were prepared for all of life’s challenges. She was well known for her cooking and baking skills, sharing many of her desserts and meals with friends and neighbors. Many of the Johnson boys’ friends referred to Marge as their second mom. One of her great joys was putting together a family cookbook with all her favorite “secret” recipes, a gift that was shared by her with all family members.
