Witt-Birn 41

The Bears squeaked out a Central Wisconsin Conference-East Division victory over the Chargers on Tuesday. Bonduel led by just two at halftime but pulled away behind Kara Troxel’s 3-point shooting.

Troxel buried five of Bonduel’s eight 3s and led her team with 23 points on the night. She also had four steals.

Kylie Guenther totaled eight points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Bears while also being tasked with defending Emma Herb, Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s leading scorer.

Olivia Curley led Witt-Birn with nine points while Chloe King had eight. Herb and Erica Wendler added seven and six points, respectively. Wendler also recorded six rebounds and five steals, while King grabbed seven boards.

Bowler 37

Tigerton 36 (OT)

Kayla Pecore hit the game-winning layup with four seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Panthers to a thrilling CWC-North win over the Tigers on Tuesday.

Pecore finished the game with 14 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three assists. Jodi Wolf contributed nine points, nine rebounds, five steals and three assists for Bowler.

Savannah Swartz led Tigerton by scoring nine points.

Iola-Scandinavia 62

Menominee Indian 53

The Eagles fell to the Thunderbirds in a CWC-East Division battle on Tuesday. Menominee Indian is now 2-3 overall and 0-1 in conference play.

Channing O’Kimosh scored 14 points to lead a balanced Eagles’ attack. Senihseah Wayka and Mimi Beaulieu-Morgan contributed 12 and 11 points, respectively.

WVL 59

Gresham 47

The Wildcats came up short in a CWC-North Division clash against Wisconsin Valley Lutheran on Tuesday.

Makayla Belongia led Gresham with 13 points while Destiny Reindl added 10. Valarie Cerveny grabbed seven rebounds, and Tiana Ferguson dished out three assists.

Gresham shot just two free throws compared to WVL’s 25. The Wildcats are 0-5 overall and now 0-1 in conference.

Little Chute 66

Clintonville 55

Erin Viergutz posted a big game, but it wasn’t enough for the Truckers to top the Mustangs in a North Eastern Conference clash on Tuesday.

Viergutz finished the night with 20 points and six rebounds while also playing strong defense for Clintonville.

Lizzy Weatherwax and Elly Arndt each scored 10 points, while Lindsy Carpenter added seven. Arndt led the team with seven rebounds.

Manawa 56

Marion 29

The Mustangs dropped a CWC-North matchup to the Wolves on Tuesday.

Kyla Zillmer recorded 16 points, six rebounds and three steals for Marion.

Bridget Bazile totaled 10 points and eight rebounds; Elizabeth Radtke had six rebounds and six steals for the Mustangs.

The Mustangs claimed a convincing victory over the Hornets in their home-opener Tuesday.

Blake Stumpf and Branden Beechy each scored 13 points to led Marion on the court.

Rosholt 82

Gresham 43

The Wildcats could not keep pace with the Hornets in a CWC crossover matchup Tuesday. Rosholt led 47-24 at halftime.

Jake Hoffman paced Gresham with 12 points, while Waylon Welch and Lukas Pecore added nine and eight points, respectively. Lyle Welch chipped in seven points.

Hoffman also pulled down six rebounds and tied Justice Paiser and Lyle Welch with a team-high three assists. Pecore recorded three steals, while Lyle Welch and Nathanial Juga each had five rebounds.
