Jeffrey R. Mitchell

Jeffrey R. “Mitch” Mitchell, 67, died suddenly Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, at his home in Tilleda.

Jeff was born on April 8, 1951, in Clintonville as the son of the late Merlin and Gladys (Wendt) Mitchell. He lived most of his life in the Clintonville area until the late 1980s when he moved to his present home in Tilleda. Jeff graduated from Clintonville High School in 1969 and worked at Torborg’s Clintonville Lumber until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially his Canadian fishing trips. Jeff also enjoyed taking road trips to see various sites around the state.

Survivors include his sister, Kay (Keith) Kemp, Menasha; brother, Patrick (Connie) Mitchell, Clintonville; three nieces, Nicole (John) Burkhart, Sara (Ryan) Messner and Casey (Kyle) Rosenberg; two nephews: Steven (fiance Keri Klotzbuecher) Mitchell and Andy (Ashley) Kemp; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Joe, Bob, Mike and John.

In accordance with Jeff’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.

The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory of Clintonville is assisting his family.
