Bowler 22

Gresham 12 (5 inn.)

The Panthers earned a wild, high-scoring Central Wisconsin Conference-North Division victory over the Wildcats on Tuesday.

Kayla Pecore launched a grand slam and finished the game with six RBIs and three runs scored for Bowler. Jodi Wolf drove in three runs, while Tynea Johnson and Tia Kroening each had two RBIs.

Morgan Paiser and Jada Waters each scored three runs for the Panthers. Waters also earned the win in the circle, working all five innings and allowing just four earned runs.

Valarie Cerveny suffered the loss in the circle for Gresham. Makayla Belongia, Destiny Reindl, Brooklyn Hoffman and Kaylee Bohm all posted two hits in the loss.

Menasha 7

Shawano 2

The Hawks could not overcome an early deficit in a Bay Conference setback to the Bluejays on Tuesday.

Gracyn Habeck and Jewel Waupekenay each scored a run in the third inning for Shawano. Kate Hoffman and Naomi Wynos led the offense with two hits each.

Taylor Johnson took the loss in the circle after pitching two innings.


Bowler 11

Gresham 7

The Panthers scored seven runs over the final two innings to claim a CWC-North win over the Wildcats on Tuesday.

Zach Fehrman led Bowler with two hits and four RBIs, while Logan Thiex added two hits and three RBIs. Thiex and Lane Schultz each scored three runs.

Fehrman earned the win on the mound after allowing three runs over three innings. Landan Kroening worked the first four innings, allowing four unearned runs.

Lukas Pecore had two hits and drove in three runs for Gresham in the loss. Austin Sperberg was dealt the loss on the mound. Pecore worked the first four innings.

Iola-Scandinavia 10

Menominee Indian 0 (6 inn.)

The Eagles could only muster two hits in a CWC-East loss to the Thunderbirds on Tuesday.

Iola-Scandinavia pulled away by scoring five runs in the fifth inning and four in the sixth.

Clintonville drops doubleheader to Lux-Casco

The Truckers were defeated twice in a North Eastern Conference clash against Luxemburg-Casco on Tuesday. The Truckers were held to just three hits in a 6-0 loss in game one, and saw the Spartans score seven runs in the seventh inning to take game two by an 18-12 final.

Jared Cartwright took the loss on the mound for Clintonville in game one, striking out four batters over 5 2/3 innings.

Klay Barkow had four hits and four RBIs for Clintonville in game two, while Presley Rosenow added two hits and three RBIs. Matthew Morse scored three runs. The Truckers used five pitchers in the game and issued 12 walks.


Hawks tie for 5th at conference meet

Led by a nine-hole round of 50 from Kaden Marcell, the Shawano boys tied for fifth place at a Bay Conference match at Shamrock Heights Golf Course in New London on Tuesday.

Shawano finished with a score of 205, tying with Seymour. Green Bay West finished first with a score of 145.

Andrew Puissant fired a round of 51, while Nick Sherman and Gage Gorman each shots 52s. Bryce Stomberg (61) was the fifth golfer on the varsity team.

Shawano was blanked in its Bay Conference opener against Xavier on Tuesday.

Peyton Buerman made 14 saves while defending the net for Shawano, which is now 2-5 overall.
