A first for Hawks soccer

The Shawano Hawks boys soccer team beat Bay Conference foe Denmark 10-0 Thursday night at Shawano Community High School, ending the game early with 14:50 left to go in the second half.

It was the first time in Shawano history that a soccer team has won 10-0.

"It's a good feeling," Shawano coach Bob Croshere said after the game. "Especially that for most of the second half it was all subs - no starters."

No one had as good a night as Shawano sophomore Garrett Schlise, who scored five goals.
