Shawano holds off Hortonville in 5th game

The Hortonville varsity girls volleyball team pushed Shawano into five sets Thursday before the Lady Hawks pulled out the victory.

The Lady Hawks won the fifth set decisively, 15-9. Shawano won the first and third sets 26-24. Hortonville won the second 28-26 and the fourth 25-16.

Despite some service and unforced errors, the Lady Hawks' offense was solid, hitting collectively at a .234 percentage, and was supported by a very strong defensive effort, Shawano coach Jean Balke said.

Bonduel quarterback Jacob Debauch threw for four touchdowns and ran in a 2-point conversion as he led the Bears past Central Wisconsin Conference-8 foe Weyauwega-Fremont 42-6 Friday night at Bonduel High School.<br /><br /><!-- 1upcrlf2 -->Debauch finished 9 of 13 for 213 yards.

Bears shut down Weyauwega-Fremont

Bonduel quarterback Jacob Debauch threw for four touchdowns and ran in a 2-point conversion as he led the Bears past Central Wisconsin Conference-8 foe Weyauwega-Fremont 42-6 Friday night at Bonduel High School.

Debauch finished 9 of 13 for 213 yards. He threw for two touchdowns in the first half and two in the second.

Bonduel running back Spencer Froemming got the Bears rolling in the first quarter scoring midway through the quarter on a 61-yard run up the sideline.
