Q How did you become interested in this type of work?

A Being a Hospice volunteer led me to my current job.

Q What career would you have if not this one?

A Anything crafty!

Q What kinds of things are you required to do as part of your job?

A Recruit and train volunteers, match volunteers with patients, plan volunteer events and community outreach.

Q How has the career field changed since you entered it?

A It is pretty much the same since I started.

Q What has this job taught you that you would not have learned otherwise?

A How blessed and rewarded I am every day, to be able to meet and help such wonderful people.

Q What do you like to do in your time off?

A Scrapbooking, sewing, camping and spending time with my family and friends.

Q What is your favorite autumn activity?

A Melissa's Pride Relay for Life 5K walk.

A Nicholas Sparks' "A Walk to Remember"

Q What is your favorite local restaurant?

A Luigi's Pasta and Pizza

Q What are three of your top accomplishments?

A Being a mother of three wonderful children, attending NWTC business management program and being a member of the Shawano/Menominee County Relay for Life as a committee member and a team captain.
